Guidance Department Mission Statement

The mission of the guidance and counseling program at Dallas Center-Grimes Community Schools is to provide a comprehensive, developmental and structured program that addresses the social/emotional, academic, and career needs of all students. School Counselors work in partnership with other educators, parents/guardians and the community to facilitate a system of supports to ensure that all students are prepared with the knowledge, skills, and strategies need to be a productive member of society.
